Please, add some more information about these photos.
They are a good opportunity for you to tell us the story behind these pictures. Tell us about the honorees, the reasons of the celebration and the emotion it certainly conveyed. OK?
You can simply add text by editing your discussion. Do you know how to edit it?
Yes, I hope we'll learn more, too.
Was this a Teachers' Day celebration?
An end-of-year celebration?
What for? / Why?
I hope to learn more soon,
Thank you for sharing,
Dear lewwwp: I will explaining what we did.
We was studying with two great teachers(Mr.Ahmed Bouslaoui, arabic teacher, and Mr.Abd-El-aziz Ammari, french teacher) since 1997 tell 1999 in primary school. And those teachers have a system of teaching it is active system in classroom and the house. When he gaves you homework,if you forget it he will be punished, but when you prepar your work he will gave you +1 in the exam. We were afraid of them.in 2013 after l'aid day i set with my classmate and We took remember school days.after that i asked them what do you think if ask those teachers if they can teach us another time? they said thats our dream. We asked them(teachers) they sad welcom in any time.So what we did here? just honoring them.We went to big libraries and we took the best books they like read it(gifts). In thursday, august 29,2013.We met again in the same primary and in the same class.Relly you can't imaging what happened there.really they crying, cry of happiness, not hurt. After that we gave them the gifts for teachin us.THen we took with them some photoes every pupil with them after that we took familliar photoes. At 11.00 and in our class we took the lunch.Thaats lunch is couscous(popular algerian food) after that we said good bye ......thats all
Your idea was great and your teacher certainly was proud of you. You can also be proud of the work you did writing the above comment. I guess it was not easy. By the way, did you use a dictionary to write it?
I hope you will continue writing, will you?
Bye for now.
It's really a good thing you did guys, remembering your teachers and showing them that they really matter and their jobs too!My pupils organize something by the end of each year as a farewell and paying tribute party to us (their teachers), and that make us feel proud of being teachers & proud of them as well.My French teacher at middle school had the same name "Ammari", such a coincidence!May god bless you and your teachers!
I will appreciate your way of giving honor to your teachers. I wish one day I can also apply this on my teachers and would give them honor to teach me, to bear me in class with all my weakness.
Thank you, Attia, for your efforts.
I love this description of the story behind the photos you shared.
I'm adding just a few edit notes below, and underlining other verbs you might try to correct.
A review of, and more practice with, various verb tenses would be helpful for you (my suggestion). There are many posts in the various grammar groups on LEWWWP you might review.
This one has diagrammed verb tense sentence examples.
I will explaining what we did.
correct = I will explain what we did.
We was studying
correct = We were studying
Now please try to think about the underlined verbs and rewrite these sentences:
When he gaves you homework, if you forget it
he will be punished, [*I think you mean he will punish you / or / you would be punished]
but when you prepare your work he will gave you +1 in the exam.
Then we took with them some photos with them [word order]
Every pupil with them after that we took familliar photoes.
*spelling = photos
Each of us had our picture taken with them. [I think this is what you mean?]
After that we took family photos. [??? Is this what you mean? Or do you mean, "After that we took the photos you see here." (familiar to us now because you've already shared them)
family / familiar
[Not sure I am understanding correctly all that you are trying to write.]
I hope you will continue writing.
You may wish to join our new course, and improve your writing one sentence at a time.
Thanks for sharing this with us. I love the way you showed your respect and gratefulness to your teachers. Best wishes.
